“Com/Posted, an outdoor ephemeral installation, challenges land fragmentation as a private property intervention. Referencing the vernacular sign of “posted” that warns of trespassing, the artwork reintroduces flexible boundaries. The use of this image-text brings attention to the ecological urgency of bioregions as a way to reshape human-imposed boundaries. Made of natural fibers and cultured yellow slime mold spores, Com/Posted signs make patterns that inspire a different read of the landscape and memory. ”
